His detailed knowledge of the history of Hong Kong and China was fascinating. He is personable, informative, and easy to be with for what is obviously a very long day. The varied transportation services we used to get around and to see views of the city was equally a fun part of the day. We were in an incline elevator, a tram, a ferry, two sampans and two private cars. Frank thought of every detail. He took us to both lunch, dinner, and treated us to a Portuguese egg tart all as advertised and included in the price. The tour was worth every penny spent!! This saved us from having to get HKD. Frank was also willing to discuss with us the realities of daily life in HK, which we really appreciated. Too often guides just want to show you the special places, and not the deeper conversations. HIs knowledge of history is amazing. • Our family of 4 did the Hong Kong Lantau Island Full-Day Tour with Private Transportation. We were picked up at our hotel in a Toyota van by Frank, our guide... read more and Sam, our driver. The van had water for us to drink and umbrellas to borrow which of course came in handy. Both gentlemen could not have been more kind and helpful during our tour. We stopped at a local restaurant and Frank picked out a lovely selection of dishes for our dietary restrictions and preferences. One family member had a shellfish allergy which was easily catered too. When it was time to visit the Big Buddha, Frank was able to quickly pivot when the weather did not cooperate and the cable cars we get stopped for a period of time. We ended up taking a taxi (van to comfortably seat our family and Frank) on Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha. Thankfully the weather cleared up and the cable cars were operational again so we were able to enjoy a return ride. We had a terrific tour with lots of information and history of the sights and locations we visited. Frank also offered to take photos of our family along the way which he sent to us at the end of the tour. We had a lovely tour and would highly recommend it!
