Cruise passengers often mix up Hong Kong’s two cruise terminals

Confusing Hong Kong’s two different cruise terminals is cruise passengers’ common mistake.

Although Hong Kong is a small harbor city, the busy Hong Kong has the Ocean Terminal and the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.

After booking their private shore excursions, some clients emailed the wrong cruise terminal information to Frank the tour guide.

So Frank did double-check the schedules of the cruise terminals to avoid making the blunder.

5?: “They were an efficient team and got us in and out promptly…”

5?Review: Frank met us at the port promptly even though our port was changed at the last minute. He was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Frank and his driver made excellent use of our short time in Hong Kong. They were an efficient team and got us in and out promptly so we could see more sights. I would recommend him to anyone traveling to Hong Kong. (Browse private tour page)
Frank’s response: Thank you very much, Patricia! You four are the happy travelers, who are indispensable for a successful private tour! A good team of private guide and limousine driver can offer efficiency and easiness to the travelers, especially to the cruise passengers at the new Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, which lacks supporting facilities and has a very poor connection to the rest of the city. (Message Frank to plan YOUR private tour)

It takes about 30 mins car ride to go from one port to another port.

Ocean Terminal is at the city center and major tourist area, Tsim Sha Tsui.

It is a small terminal mainly for the small cruises.

It is convenient as it is right next to the big Harbor City Shopping Mall and opposite to the Star Ferry Pier.

Although the cruise terminal has a stunning Victoria Harbor view, its remote location is inconvenient for the cruise passengers.

5? Review: Our day with Frank in Hong Kong was spectacular, from pickup at the ship’s terminal to hotel drop off. His itinerary was well planned and included many fascinating places and amazing views. We particularly enjoyed our drive to Stanley, seeing a side of Hong Kong rarely seen in pictures. We experienced a little bit of everything Hong Kong has to offer. Frank’s very informative guiding brought everything together nicely. Our day with Frank far exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

It is the well-planned and well-tested sightseeing, logistics and dining solution on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. It covers the city’s most popular highlights and the pretty Chinese cultural elements. Hong Kong situation is getting better now. Thank you for the loyal and brave Hong Kong Police Force!
